Eagles Reach Out to Community, Aid in Cleanup Efforts

WINDSOR, Colo. – The Colorado Eagles, a day after tornados tore through Northern Colorado – with the majority of the damage coming in Windsor, within a quarter mile of the team’s corporate office – began to aid in the efforts to clean up the natural disaster’s mess. Members of the team and front office worked to clean up debris in the Water Valley area (as the hardest-hit places in Windsor are still closed off to non-emergency personnel) and helped 107.9 The Bear raise money for the Red Cross in Fort Collins.  With the Eagles matching the $10,000 raised at the College & Prospect location, The Bear and its sister stations approached a total of $40,000 among their locations across the city.

The Eagles organization would like the area to know that they will continue to contribute as the community they call home regroups and rebuilds from Thursday’s devastating events. Our hearts go out to all of those affected, not only in Windsor, but across Northern Colorado.
